High School Division Information

The 18U division is for high school age players who are not on a varsity or junior varsity roster. The 18U division plays under the basic rules of TSSAA high school baseball - including the TSSAA bat rules. There are a few rules modifications targeted to more of a semi-competitive culture. Nine players are in the field defensively. There are no more than 12 players per team. All players on the roster bat in the lineup. Umpires are utilized and season standings are kept. There are typically three events per week with a 15 to 18 game schedule plus a postseason playoff in which all teams qualify. Because of high school functions late in the year, the 18U league typically plays into middle or late June. While this is one of the few HS rec leagues in the Mid-South, the focus and purpose of this division is to have fun and allow players to continue playing while in a semi-competitive environment.
